Jax 95ers begin season 3 with wins — and a bigger mission beyond basketball

More than just a basketball team, the Jacksonville 95ers are community driven organization that goes beyond the court. The Owner, Kevin Waters a native of Atlanta, Ga found a love for Duval County and wanted to be a part of the Jacksonville community. He took his love of basketball along with his passion of serving the community and formed a men’s basketball team.
The Jacksonville 95ers recently started their 3rd season with three home games behind them already, in which they walked away with a win.
Kevin Waters also launched the Kevin Waters Basketball Academy, where he provides several opportunities throughout the year to mentor youth.
Kevin Waters, along with GM Tamonica Mike are currently working towards their goal of creating a state-of-the-art facility. Within the facility they are looking to not just have a gymnasium, but also a recreational center. An opportunity to continue to build the Kevin Waters Basketball Academy and provide additional youth development opportunities.
