Just 48 hours after winning the most coveted individual award in college football, Derrick Henry couldn't stop smiling, and that was only partly because he became just the second player in Alabama football history to win the Heisman Trophy.  He admitted after his visit to the Kravis Children's Hospital at Mt. Sinai hospital in New York Monday that putting smiles on the kids that are there was another memorable part of a remarkable weekend that hasn't ended yet.

Henry was the guest of honor at a gala dinner in New York tonight, officially welcoming him into the Heisman Fraternity.  "Its been a goal and a dream of mine to win the Heisman Trophy," said Henry Monday night.

Henry has been quick to point out and thank the people closest to him in speeches and interviews all weekend long and that continued Monday as he took over the official Twitter feed of the Heisman Trophy to answer questions on social media.  One of those questions posed to Henry today was, "What is your favorite part about your hometown of Yulee?"  Henry answered, "Everybody is so loving and supportive.  That's where my friends and family are at and I love them a lot.  I'm just trying to put Yulee on the map from high school to college."
