JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars continued boosting their depth on the offensive line, re-signing veteran Tyler Shatley on Friday.
Shatley is one of the team’s success stories, making the team as an undrafted free agent in 2014 out of Clemson. He’s played in 145 career games and holds the franchise record for most consecutive games played (140). In 2022, Shatley was the team’s nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award. His two-year contract ran out after the season.

Terms of Shatley’s new deal were not announced.
Shatley has been a versatile and durable player for the Jaguars. He had a bit of a scare last year after suffering atrial fibrillation following a training camp practice. But Shatley recovered that and played in all 17 games with six starts.
Shatley, 32, gives the Jaguars veteran depth on the offensive line that needs it. Jacksonville’s line was one of the league’s worst last year as injuries, suspension and regression made it a forgettable season. Shatley can play center or guard but is a natural guard. He’ll enter training camp as a backup to Ezra Cleveland, who the team re-signed to a contract extension before the start of free agency.
