JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jaguars traded back from their No. 17 spot in the first round, moving back for the second consecutive season.

Jacksonville sent the 17th pick to Minnesota for pick No. 23, No. 167 and third- and fourth-round selections in the 2025 draft. The Vikings used that selection to pick Alabama edge rusher Dallas Turner.

A historic run on offensive players — 14 straight to open the draft — gave Jacksonville and general manager Trent Baalke the inclination to trade back. He did it twice in the first round last year and wound up selecting offensive tackle Anton Harrison.

Baalke also made a trade back up into the first round in 2022. The Jaguars took Travon Walker No. 1 overall and then moved up from the second round and drafted Devin Lloyd at No. 27.
