JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In just under two weeks, the Jacksonville Jaguars were slated to compete in just their second primetime game of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.
That is no longer happening.

On Monday, NFL Insider Tom Pelissero reported that the Jags and Eagles will be moved to 4:05 p.m. and will be replaced on Sunday Night Football by the matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the Minnesota Vikings.

While Jacksonville is coming off of two featured games in London, the NFL‘s primetime games are typically presented on either NBC’s Sunday Night Football or ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
The Jags have made a primetime appearance this season. In Week 3, the team took on the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football, which ended with the Jags taking a 47-10 beating.
Sunday Night Football on Nov. 3 provided the Jaguars an opportunity to redeem themselves in front of a national audience against an Eagles team that stands at 4-2 heading into Week 7; however, with the Colts and Vikings both having winning records, the NFL decided to go with the more “quality matchup.”
Jacksonville is coming off a 32-16 win in Week 6 over the New England Patriots and returns to Everbank Stadium on Sunday to take on the 5-2 Green Bay Packers.
