JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two days through camp, and the guys are getting after it.

“We want to go hard every time,” said receiver Dyami Brown.

Brown is one of the new faces but he is going to be a big part of the Jaguars offense this year.

“We can definitely see the light,” said Brown about the vibe in the locker room. “We all agree that we want to win.”

With the changes to revamp the team from the mindset to the people, maybe the position with the biggest changes at the top is at wide receiver. Two of the top three guys are fresh faces. The group fits together nearly perfectly because all of their skills sets are different.

“BT [Brian Thomas Jr.], he smooth with it,” said Brown. “Travis [Hunter] got a little bit more twitch to him. I feel like I’m a big body.”

Plus, add in guys like Parker Washington, Brenton Strange and the running back, and the Jags have a very diverse group of offensive weapons. This might be the best supporting cast from top to bottom that Trevor Lawrence has had to this point in his career. Now we just wait and see what Liam Coen can do with these guys.

QB tracker

Trevor Lawrence: 11-17

Nick Mullens: 8-11 and 1 INT

John Wolford: 2-5 and 1 INT

Seth Henigan: 1-1 and 1 fumble

📓 Notebook 📓

  • Buster Brown did not practice. He has a lower leg injury and is day-to-day.
  • Josh Hines-Allen made it on the NFL top 100 list at number 63. Seems a little low to me, but with a big season this year, Hines-Allen will get a bump for the 2026 list.
  • Arik Armstead wasn’t involved in team drills for the second day.
  • Tyler Lacy is on the beneficial end of Armstead getting some rest. Lacy has gotten a long look.

  • Parker Washington had nice catch near the end of practice. A second solid day of work for Washington. He seems cemented in as WR 4 but may still be a guy who has a role on the offense.
  • Joshua Cephus with another good day. Through two days, Cephus may have had the best two days of anyone. He has made some nice plays at every level of the field.
  • Zechariah McPhearson had a pair of PBUs, including one of Brian Thomas Jr. where BT was open deep.
  • Maybe the defensive play of the day came from Antonio Johnson. He came up with an interception off Nick Mullens. Really nice play from Johnson to jump the route and come up with the pick. Safety is going to be a really competitive spot so he will need to keep stacking big plays.
  • Another safety who was solid Caleb Ransaw he made a couple of plays, including a PBU.
  • Rookie Doneiko Slaughter also came up with an interception on the day. John Wolford air mailed one straight to him. Looked like some sort of miscommunication with no receiver in the area. But still a good play from the rookie.
  • Yasir Abdullah got a few looks with Devin Lloyd and Foye Oluokun. Early camp rotations as they mix and match, but might be something to watch.
  • Hunter Long and Johnny Mundt both dropped passes during practice.
  • Cam Little was  3 for 5 on field goals.
