JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The first high school football points rankings are out and it’s a good start for St. Augustine, Bolles, Nease and Bradford.
The Yellow Jackets and Bulldogs lead their classifications in the Florida High School Athletic Association points chase. Those ratings help set the playoff field come postseason time. St. Augustine (5-0) has a 19.94 rating, a number that is the best in Class 4A. Bolles (4-1) is at 18.302, which leads Class 2A.

Nease is ranked fourth in Class 6A and Bradford comes in at third in Class 2A.
Super 10 No. 1-ranked Raines (13.796) is ranked third in Class 3A. The Vikings have played just three games after a Week 1 cancellation and a Week 5 bye.
There are four regions in each classification (1A-7A) and eight teams per region reach the playoffs. Four district champs earn automatic spots while the next four highest ranked teams get a playoff berth. In the Rural class, the top 16 ranked schools reach the playoffs.
