JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – All but one area district championship is done and settled after a big Week 10 in high school football on Friday night.
Mandarin (1-6A), Ed White (4-4A), Wakulla (2-3A), Raines (3-3A), Bradford (5-2A) and University Christian (3-1A) won on Friday to clinch district titles.
Wakulla edged Baker County 13-7 in double overtime to deny the Wildcats a crown. Only District 3-5A (Beachside, Fleming Island, Ponte Vedra) remains unsettled, and won’t be decided until Nov. 4 when the Barracudas and Golden Eagles play a makeup game.
