1. (2) Creekside (7-0), Class 7A

Quality wins: Fleming Island, Fletcher, Mandarin.

Notable: The Knights handed Mandarin its first regular season loss last week since the 2022 season with a 3-1 win. That’s a massive victory for Creekside, which knocked the Mustangs from the No. 1 perch that they had occupied for more than three years. Up next is Beachside on Friday before Thanksgiving break. Sebastian Hernandez and Luke Amman have combined for 12 goals, with Amman putting two in the net against Mandarin.

2. (1) Mandarin (5-1), Class 6A

Quality wins: Bartram Trail, Beachside, Fletcher, Nease.

Notable: The Mustangs fall from the top spot after a multi-year run at No. 1. They hadn’t lost a regular season game since Jan. 31, 2022 to Bartram Trail before last week’s 3-1 defeat to Creekside. They bounced back with a 7-0 romp over Atlantic Coast. One loss means nothing long term. The Mustangs are still positioned for another deep playoff run. Emir Trto (9 goals, 5 assists) and Robert Calazans (5 goals, 3 assists) are leading Mandarin.

3. (3) Ponte Vedra (4-0), Class 5A

Quality wins: Bartram Trail, Nease, St. Augustine.

Notable: The Sharks are out to a great start, including a 3-0 win over Nease since our last Super 6. Nick Churchill and Antonio Mahfuz Neto have two goals apiece for Ponte Vedra. They’re off until Dec. 1.

4. (6) Fleming Island (1-1-1), Class 5A

Quality win: Beachside.

Notable: The Golden Eagles beat previous No. 4 Beachside 2-1 in their lone game since our last Super 6. They visit Bartram Trail on Friday night before a lengthy break.

5. (4) Beachside (4-2), Class 5A

Quality win: Englewood.

Notable: The Barracudas drop a spot after a loss to Fleming Island, but I’ve still got them ahead of Sandalwood, Bartram Trail, St. Augustine and Tocoi Creek. They’ve got a tough game at No. 1 Creekside on Friday.

6. (NR) Sandalwood (4-0-2, Class 7A)

Quality win: Clay, Fletcher, Wolfson.

Notable: They Saints edge out Bartram Trail for the No. 6 spot this week after a quality start. They’ve picked up ties against Fleming Island and a very good Spruce Creek team. They’re off until Dec. 1 when they return against No. 1 Creekside. Thought about keeping Bartram Trail in because its three losses have come to teams who are a combined 12-1, but I opted for the Saints.

Dropped out

Bartram Trail (2-3, Class 6A)
