Ranking, School, Record, Classification

1. Episcopal (1-0, Class 1A)

Notable win: St. Edward’s.

Glance: The Eagles had an excellent 2025 season, running through all local competition and reaching the state semifinals before losing to eventual state champ Lake Highland Prep. That Eagles team went 16-4, headlined by Varsity 4 All-News4JAX player of the year Brooke McCoy. Quality 13-4 W over regional semifinalist St. Edward’s to start the season.

2. Ponte Vedra (2-0, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Bolles, Fletcher.

Glance: The Sharks went 13-4 last year and lost in the second round to Bartram Trail. Like No. 3 Bartram Trail, the graduation losses are significant. Junior Grace Raymond had 29 goals and 11 assists in an All-News4JAX season. Raymond, sophomore Shelby Pare (22 goals) and Gracie Madson (20 goals) are Ponte Vedra’s top three returnees.

3. Bartram Trail (1-1, Class 2A)

Notable wins: None.

Glance: The Bears reached the regional finals last year, ending a string of an area-record three consecutive state championships. The graduation losses are steep, so that is going to require some navigation. Two-time All-News4JAX selection Esa Brenneman is Bartram’s top player and coming off a 40-goal season.

4. Bolles (1-1, Class 1A)

Notable win: Gulf Breeze.

Glance: This is the spot in the rankings where it begins to get difficult. The Bulldogs were 10-6 last season and reached the state playoffs. Anna Giordano, an All-News4JAX selection who scored 56 goals last year, returns for Bolles. They’ve got a quality 16-9 win over Gulf Breeze to open the season, and an 18-3 loss to Ponte Vedra.

5. Tocoi Creek (1-0, Class 2A)

Notable wins: None.

Glance: The Toros went 9-9 last year and reached the second round of the state playoffs. Ashley Cotter is the big name to watch for Tocoi Creek. The Stanford commit has a whopping 229 career goals, including 65 last year. She’s a three-time All-News4JAX selection.

6. Nease (2-0, Class 2A)

Notable wins: None.

Glance: As mentioned above, this space in the Super 6 is always challenging, especially early in the season. St. Augustine would be another team I’d put here, but the Yellow Jackets have a ton of graduation losses. The Panthers have outscored teams 31-3 to start the season.

On the bubble

Creekside (0-1, Class 2A); Fletcher (1-1, Class 2A); St. Augustine (1-1, Class 1A).
