JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Varsity 4 News4JAX Super 6 boys lacrosse rankings will be published each Tuesday in the regular season. Records are through Feb. March 2 games.

1. (1) Ponte Vedra (6-0, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Bishop Moore, Fletcher, Gulf Breeze, Pensacola Catholic, Starr’s Mill (Ga.), Winter Park.

Glance: The beat goes on for the area’s best team and one of the best in Florida. They clobbered a quality Pensacola Catholic (23-2) and then handed perennial power Bishop Moore (12-10) its first loss of the year. Bartram Trail, Episcopal and Jupiter round out this week’s slate.

2. (2) Bolles (8-0, Class 1A)

Notable wins: Buchholz, Cardinal Mooney, Fletcher, Nease, St. Edward’s.

Glance: Easy wins for the Bulldogs over Fletcher (12-3) and Montverde (13-2) since our last Super 6. They’ve got a busy rest of the week with Matanzas, Chiles, South Walton and Pensacola Catholic.

3. (3) Episcopal (5-1, Class 1A)

Notable wins: Menendez, Pensacola Catholic, South Walton.

Glance: The Eagles lost to Oak Hall (14-7) and then rattled off three wins after that — Pensacola Catholic (11-8), South Walton (10-9) and Menendez (14-0). Tough game at Ponte Vedra on Wednesday up next.

4. (4) Fletcher (3-3, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Gulf Breeze.

Glance: The Senators went 1-1 since our last Super 6, losing to Bolles (12-3) and beating Fernandina Beach (14-7). Up next are Providence and St. Augustine this week.

5. (5) Creekside (4-3, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Bartram Trail, St. Augustine, Tocoi Creek.

Glance: The Knights topped rival Bartram Trail (8-5) and then lost to Oak Hall (18-5) since our last Super 6.

6. (NR) Nease (4-2, Class 2A)

Notable win: South Walton.

Glance: The Panthers have won three straight since a loss to Bolles, including a quality W over South Walton (8-6) since our last Super 6. Nease replaces St. Augustine, which lost to South Walton.

St. Augustine (5-2, Class 1A).
