JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX girls lacrosse Super 6 will be published Monday through the end of the regular season with the exception of Spring break. Records are through March 22.

1. (1) Episcopal (10-1, Class 1A)
Notable wins: Bolles, Hagerty, Harrison (Ga.), Newsome, Oak Hall, Ponte Vedra, St. Edward’s, Tocoi Creek, Vero Beach.
Glance: The Eagles have done nothing but confirm that they’re the area’s top team. Episcopal went 2-1 since our last Super 6 a couple weeks ago, beating Hagerty (13-9) and Bolles (16-4). They lost to a 14-1 Lake Highland Prep in a 16-11 shootout.
2. (2) Ponte Vedra (7-2, Class 2A)
Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Bolles, Cambridge (Ga.), Fletcher, Harrison (Ga.), Vero Beach.
Glance: The Sharks hammered Bartram Trail 15-2 in their only game since our last Super 6. That’s a massive margin of victory over the area’s most successful program.
3. (4) Bolles (7-4, Class 1A)
Notable wins: Buchholz, Gulf Breeze, Nease, South Walton, Tocoi Creek
Glance: The Bulldogs have lost back-to-back games, including a 16-4 defeat to No. 1 Episcopal. They do have an early season win over Tocoi Creek, which puts them ahead of the Toros this week.
4. (5) Tocoi Creek (9-2, Class 2A)
Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Nease, St. Augustine, South Walton.
Glance: The Toros are hot, winners of six straight including their first ever win over Bartram Trail. In their previous matchups against the Bears, Tocoi Creek lost by margins of 21, 19 (twice), eight and 16. Ashley Cotter has scored 57 goals for the Toros.
5. (3) Bartram Trail (6-5, Class 2A)
Notable win: Gulf Breeze, Hagerty, Nease, Oak Hall, St. Augustine.
Glance: The Bears have struggled a bit since our last update, losing 12-9 to Tocoi Creek and 15-2 to No. 2 Ponte Vedra. They did rebound for an 11-9 win over Hagerty. A trip to Bolles on Tuesday is up next.
6. (6) Fleming Island (9-2, Class 1A)
Notable wins: Creekside.
Glance: The Golden Eagles went 1-1 since our last Super 6, a 12-6 loss to a quality Buchholz and a 12-11 win over Creekside. They get No. 4 Tocoi Creek on Tuesday. Meredith Giebeig, Brylee Thomas and Kelsey Hodge are doing the bulk of the scoring for the Golden Eagles.
