Rank, previous, school, record, classification

T1. (1) Clay (8-0, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Santa Fe, St. Augustine, Tocoi Creek, White.

Glance: The Blue Devils hammered Ridgeview 52-0 in their only game since our last Super 6. They haven’t allowed a point this year, outscoring teams by a combined 305-0. Yes, the schedule has been anemically soft. It’s the weakest among the top eight local teams in the MaxPreps rankings

T1. (T1) Ponte Vedra (11-0, Class 3A)

Notable wins: Chiles, Fletcher, Land O’Lakes, Paxon, Sandalwood, St. Augustine, Stanton, Yulee.

Glance: The Sharks really should be the undisputed No. 1 team, but I’m hesitant to move Clay out, despite the massive difference in competition. Ponte Vedra topped previous No. 3 Paxon 13-0 and then rocked St. Augustine 48-7 since our last Super 6. They’ve got a solid Nease team up next on Thursday. Izzy Murray has 44 TD passes and 2,754 yards this season. Murray now has more TD passes this year than she did in 2025 (36). Peyton Gruver and Julia Conroy have combined for 27 TD catches. Conroy also has 11 interceptions on defense, followed by Gruver’s eight.

3. (4) Bartram Trail (12-0, Class 3A)

Notable win: Atlantic Coast, Baker County, Fleming Island, Nease.

Glance: The Bears beat Baker County (31-12), Atlantic Coast (25-0), Fletcher (33-7) and Creekside (46-0) during a huge week since our last Super 6. Kaila Pierce has thrown 35 TD passes, a combined 24 of those to Riley Abelon and Bralynne McDonald.

4. (3) Paxon (6-1, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Bradford, Fleming Island, Stanton.

Glance: The Golden Eagles went 1-1 since our last Super 6, losing to Ponte Vedra (13-0) and bouncing back to blank Baldwin (20-0).

5. (6) Mandarin (8-0, Class 4A)

Notable wins: Baker County, Bolles, Ribault, Sandalwood, Stanton.

Glance: The Mustangs validated their move into the Super 6 with a 6-0 win over previous No. 5 Bolles. Tough test on deck against St. Augustine on Wednesday night. Cameron Latsko has thrown 20 TD passes for Mandarin, 10 of those going to Akaylah Hewett.

6. (NR) Nease (8-2, Class 3A)

Notable wins: Baker County, Bolles, Yulee.

Glance: The Panthers have bounced back from a loss to Bartram Trail with wins over Fletcher and Yulee. Very tough games on deck against Ponte Vedra and University Christian. Yes, there’s a bad, bad loss to Tocoi Creek early in the season (31-0), but Nease has straightened things out since its second game.
