Jaguars mandatory minicamp opens doors for fans ahead of 2026 season

JACKSONVILLE. Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars are back on the field, and fans are already buzzing.

Mandatory minicamp is underway, giving registered fans one of their first close looks at the 2026 Jaguars. The team is looking to build on a strong 2025 campaign that included a 13-win season, an AFC South title and a playoff appearance.

Fans who made it out to the field Wednesday morning came with expectations — and plenty of energy.

Concessions, mascot Jaxon De Ville and the D-Line were all on hand to help fuel the excitement for both the minicamp and the upcoming season.

For many in attendance, the event offered something valuable during the offseason: a reason to stay locked in.

“Expectation levels are on a 10 every single day,” said Steve Hopkins, a Jaguars fan. “I think everybody that, if you’re a season ticket holder or a casual fan, it doesn’t matter because we’re all trying to win. I mean, as fans are trying to win, but they’re trying to win too, and it’s very, very personal. Every single day is personal.”

Practice was open to fans from 8:40 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. One thing is already clear — expectations for the 2026 season are high.
