“Respond.” That’s been the theme all week long, and I think that’s exactly what the Jaguars do Sunday against the Patriots. It’s also exactly what they need to do to get back on track.
This is the last “home” game in Jacksonville for a while, and both the team and the fans need this one to go their way. I think the Jaguars are still mad about what happened against Denver. They feel like they let one slip away, and you can tell they’ve been preparing with a different level of intensity this week to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
The Jaguars need to get off to a fast start and play good, complementary football in all three phases for all four quarters. Do that, and I think they bounce back and leave the Bank with a 2-1 record.-- Jaguars 27, Patriots 17

Jaguars laid an egg in the second half in Denver last week. Was that an aberration or a sign of things to come? The Jaguars need to show some pass rush and better blocking on the offensive line. Drake Maye was elite last year. He’s been less elite two games into this season. Jaguars get back on track. -- Jaguars 28, Patriots 20.

The Jaguars need this one. After the loss last week, I think they get back on track to avoid falling to 1-2. I think Bhayshul Tuten breaks off a long run and gives the offense the spark it needs. Travis Hunter comes up with his first big turnover to silence all the snap talk. It won’t be pretty the whole way because apparently Jaguars fans aren’t allowed to have stress-free Sundays but they will make enough plays late to get the bounce-back win. -- Jaguars 28, Patriots 24
