Jason Nguyen is an Executive Reporter at KPRC 2, helping lead our daily coverage and working with journalists across the newsroom to tell stories that matter to the people we serve.
Jason’s career has given him a view of journalism from nearly every corner of the newsroom, from shooting and editing stories to working the assignment desk, reporting investigations, anchoring and eventually leading other journalists.
His career has taken him from Toledo to Fort Myers, Cleveland, Portland and Salt Lake City before bringing him to Houston, where his reporting has focused on government accountability, public safety, consumer issues and taxpayer dollars.
No matter the story, Jason believes our journalism should answer a simple question: How does this affect the people who live here?
When he’s not in the newsroom, Jason spends most of his time with his wife Rosie. They love traveling and making Houston home.
