Four under-the-radar free agents the Jaguars should target

It is those sorts of moves that can help to define a team. Here are four free agents this year whose names you or may not know that could pay huge dividends for the Jaguars in 2022.

Keenum, 3rd-string back Johnson lead Browns past Broncos

Case Keenum stepped in for Baker Mayfield and made the most of his first start in two years, leading Cleveland’s injury-ravaged offense and the Browns to a 17-14 win over the Denver Broncos.

Raiders begin post-Jon Gruden era with 34-24 win at Denver

The Las Vegas Raiders began the post-Jon Gruden era with a 34-24 thrashing of the Denver Broncos.

Seattle's Darrell Taylor taken to hospital after scary hit

Seahawks linebacker Darrell Taylor had movement in all of his extremities after leaving Seattle’s game Sunday night against Pittsburgh late in the fourth quarter on a stretcher with an unspecified injury.

Four factors: How the Jaguars can beat the Cardinals and end their losing skid

It feels like forever since the Jaguars have won a game. They have not won a game since Sept. 13, 2020. Maybe this is the week they break the streak and get back in the win column.

Broncos top winless Jets 37-28 for first victory of season

On third-and-6 and the Jets leading by one, Quinnen Williams sacked Brett Rypien — but grabbed the quarterback’s helmet and prolonged the drive. Brian Poole then intercepted Rypien, making his first NFL start, on the Broncos’ next possession, giving the Jets the ball at Denver’s 44. Darnold gave the Jets their first lead of the season with a dazzling run that would make running back teammates Frank Gore and Le'Veon Bell proud. Darnold was able to come back early in the second quarter on the Jets' next series — and was promptly sacked again. The Jets took advantage — eventually.

Jets QB Darnold leaves game after hard sack, then returns

New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold (14) is sacked by Denver Broncos' A.J. Darnold handed off on the next play, then headed to the sideline and into the locker room. Veteran Joe Flacco, in his first game as New York's backup, took over, but Darnold came back early in the second period. He looked to be severely hurt, but came back for the end of the next series, taking another sack. The Jets also lost defensive lineman Steve McLendon (knee); cornerback Bless Austin (calf); tackle Chuma Edoga (shoulder) in the first period.
