In the wetlands of coastal southeast Louisiana, conservation groups are wrapping up a four-year project to plant 30,000 trees.

Andrew Ferris is captain of the tennis team at Creekside High School and finished the season as the district tournament champion of Class 4A in both singles and doubles, leading the Creekside boys to their first district team championship since 2009.
