The Scarlett Johansson Marvel movie โBlack Widow,โ last set for Nov. 6, heads to May 7 of next year. That was the date set for โWest Side Story,โ but Spielberg's musical will instead debut in December 2021. Given the interconnected nature of Marvel releases, the latest delay of โBlack Widowโ had a domino effect on other films. Since the pandemic began, the company's โMulan,โ โHamiltonโ and โArtemis Fowlโ have gone direct to streaming, with โMulanโ made available for a $30 premium purchase by subscribers.

The upcoming Marvel film, The Eternals, is going to include the an openly gay character. Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, confirmed the news during a recent interview with Good Morning America while not clarifying which character it's going to be. The actress said she felt empowered while donning the costume for her Eternals character, Thena, until her kids got a look at her getup. As for the openly gay character in The Eternals, as fans of the MCU know, this won't be the only LGBTQ representation in the comic book universe.
