Chambers died early Friday, her nephew James Cox Kennedy told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, her companys flagship newspaper. She was the daughter of James Middleton Cox, the 1920 Democratic presidential candidate and founder of Cox Enterprises Inc. Chambers; her mother, Margaretta Blair Cox; sister, Barbara Cox Anthony; and brother James Jr. initially shared interests in the company after James Sr.'s death.
