She was a gestational surrogate for her daughter, Breanna Lockwood, who was told by doctors that she can not have children. Julie gave birth while she was... wait for it... 51-years-old. Doctors used hormone therapy to take her out of menopause, so she could carry the baby.

Blasio was one of about 200 infants placed in an illegal black-market baby ring run out of a small Georgia clinic by Dr. Thomas J. Hicks during the 1950s and 1960s.
