NEW YORK โ€“ The Walt Disney Co.โ€™s streaming plans shifted into hyper speed Thursday, as the studio unveiled a galaxyโ€™s worth of new streaming offerings including plans for 10 โ€œStar Warsโ€ series spinoffs and 10 Marvel series that will debut on Disney+. But Disney also kept its biggest films โ€” including Marvel's โ€œBlack Widow," Pixar's โ€œLuca,โ€ a โ€œLion Kingโ€ prequel โ€” on course for theatrical release. Jenkins becomes the first woman to direct a โ€œStar Warsโ€ film. Among the โ€œStar Warsโ€ series are two spinoffs of โ€œThe Mandalorian,โ€ set during the series' timeline: โ€œRangers of the New Republicโ€ and โ€œAhsoka,โ€ with Rosario Dawson. Seven Disney films topped $1 billion worldwide.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. โ€“ Disney CEO Bob Chapek told investors they are seeing high demand and strong attendance at the parks in Orlando, as first reported by ClickOrlando. Chapek said they are now allowing the parks to have up to 35 percent of total capacity each day, which is up from 25 percent. Additionally, Thursday was the release of Disneyโ€™s fourth quarter and full fiscal year earnings. Disneyโ€™s quarter four revenues were over 14.7 billion, thatโ€™s down 23 percent from last year. The report shows Disneyโ€™s fiscal year revenue was 65.3 billion, down about 6 percent from last year.
