One of the longest running track meets in history

For over sixty years, the Bob Hayes Invitational Track Meet has stood as a central gathering for aspiring track and field athletes from the southeastern United States. For those unfamiliar with history, Bob Hayes, the renowned sprinter from Florida A&M, earned the nickname "Bullet Bob" for his unparalleled supremacy in sprinting events spanning from 60 to 100 yards.

The Bob Hayes Invitational Track and Field meet is moving from its traditional venue at Raines High School to UNF’s Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium for 2023, the school announced Monday.
