The Senior Citizens League (TSCL) is predicting a 3.5 percent Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for Social Security in 2027 — a slight dip of 0.1 percentage points from last month’s forecast, but still higher than recent years.

The Senior Citizens League (TSCL) is projecting Social Security’s 2027 Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) at 3.8% — unchanged from last month’s forecast and 1 percentage point higher than this year’s 2.8% adjustment.

Rising inflation has triggered a jump in Social Security’s annual cost-of-living adjustment, or COLA, for 2022.
