The Jaguars (1-14) already set a team record for consecutive losses (14) and an NFL record for consecutive games allowing at least 24 points (also 14). Coach Doug Marrone and his staff could be next, possibly within hours of the season finale. Marrone said Wednesday that quarterback Mike Glennon will start the finale instead of Gardner Minshew. I don’t try to look too far (ahead) and I don’t try to look too back in the past.

The Jaguars dropped their franchise-record 14th consecutive game on Sunday in a 41-17 loss to the Bears at TIAA Bank Field but locked down hope for the future in the process. With the Jets holding on to beat the Browns 23-16, the Jaguars officially clinched the No. 1 pick in next year’s NFL draft, no matter what happens in Week 17.

Global opinion has shifted so much that more people are now vilifying those who attack Kaepernick or misrepresent his stance. I have had many people attempt to discourage our support of Colin, which is unthinkable to me. He is encouraged because more folks support Kaepernicks movement but realizes theres a long way to go.
