A man who was in the custody of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office died Wednesday morning after appearing “ill and unresponsive,” according to CCSO.

On Wednesday, the St. Johns County Firefighters Union is meeting with county officials to continue to push for a major change: a healthier work schedule. This will be the second meeting between the two sides in the contract negotiation process.

The floor is caved in, smoke damage is everywhere and debris is scattered.
