Pitts puts on show at Floridaโs pro day for NFL evaluators
(AP Photo/John Raoux, File)GAINESVILLE, Fla. โ There was no shortage of Kyle Pitts highlights at Floridaโs pro day Wednesday, from his measurables to his moves to even his mindset. It was a refresher course for anyone who watched the versatile tight end play last season. Pitts and several teammates โ most notably quarterback Kyle Trask, cornerback Marco Wilson and receivers Kadarius Toney and Trevon Grimes โ worked out for talent evaluators from 31 of 32 NFL teams. AdItโs still entirely possible for Pitts to be the highest-drafted tight end in the modern era (since 1970). โHeโs a different bird than what a traditional tight end has been or certainly has been when I played,โ said Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell, a tight end who played 11 NFL seasons.
Brady throws for 4 TDs, Bucs pull away from Falcons 44-27
โIt meant the world for him to get that record and, then, to have an easy touchdown," Bucs coach Bruce Arians said. Brady joined Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning and Dan Marino as the only players with multiple seasons of at least 40 TD passes. โWhatever happens for me as a quarterback is reflective of what we do as an offense,โ Brady said. " The latter trimmed Atlantaโs deficit to 30-27 before Brady put the game away with two late drives. Brown had his most productive day since joining the Bucs midway through the season with 11 catches for 138 yards.
