PETERSBURG, Fla. โ After 37 years behind bars, a Florida man was formally cleared Monday of a 1983 rape and murder that DNA evidence proved he did not commit after a long-ago trial that relied on a sketchy jailhouse informant and faulty bite mark analysis. โThis court has failed you for 37 years,โ Nash said during the hearing, held remotely. โToday, it has finally succeeded.โDuBoise, 55, was convicted in the 1983 murder of 19-year-old Barbara Grams. โWe're righting this wrong today, finally.โThe exoneration came as a result of cooperation between prosecutors in Warren's office and the Innocence Project, which works to free prisoners who have been wrongly convicted. Given that, the killing of the teenager 37 years ago will return to the unsolved file.

Family of Texas man set to be executed next week not giving up hope
(CNN) - The family of Texas death row inmate Rodney Reed, who is scheduled to be executed Nov. 20, told NBC Nightly News they'll keep fighting for him "until the end." "I'm hoping that we get a fair and just judge, and my baby will be home," Reed's mother, Sandra Reed, told the network in an interview. Rodney Reed has spent more than 21 years on death row for the 1996 murder of Stacey Stites. "I know that there is somebody out there feeling us when we speak," Reed's brother Rodrick Reed. "That's a fight that we will see all the way through, until the end," Rodrick Reed said.
