As thousands of students prepare to celebrate their graduations this week, Andrew Jackson High School highlighted the inspiring story of one of its graduates, who, despite facing significant challenges, walked across the stage at the University of North Florida on Tuesday.

Lamar Jackson threw a touchdown pass and made the play of night when he avoided a sack and threw to Isaiah Likely near the goal line, and the Baltimore Ravens clinched a postseason berth with a 23-7 victory at Jacksonville.

The crime-fighting group MAD DADS on Friday night identified and shared photos of an 18-year-old woman that Jacksonville police said was found dead earlier this week at a home in the Moncrief neighborhood.

Kaylon Geiger had 103 receiving yards for Troy and Reggie Todd had 101, including a 41-yard touchdown. Free led Troy down the field to stay alive, setting up Jamontez Woods’ 3-yard touchdown run with 2:48 left. He ran for a touchdown and added the two-point conversion with 30 seconds left last season to give Coastal a 36-35 victory.
