An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting a month and a half ago on the city’s Southside that left two people dead, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday.

Jamarion Barnes, 21, and his 20-year-old brother, Jelijah Barnes, both died this year, according to loved ones.

Heartbreak and outrage were emotions shared by those who attended a vigil Wednesday night to remember a man and woman found shot to death in a car on the Southside.
