Gloria Estefan, Alex Rodriguez mark Latino impact on media
LOS ANGELES โ Gloria Estefan, Alex Rodriguez and Eva Longoria will be among the participants in a monthlong online celebration of Latino contributions to television. Itโs the first such event by Paley to coincide with Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. Among the highlights of the event (all times Eastern):โ โA Tribute to Hispanic Achievements on Television,โ 8 p.m. Wednesday on Yahoo Entertainment. '30 Rock' cast reuniting to tout new NBC, cable schedules
The cast of the Emmy-winning, 2006-13 sitcom will be in character, including Jack McBrayers enthusiastic network page, the company said Tuesday. It's a family affair on Bluff City Law. In Bluff City Law, after years of not speaking to each other, Elijah and Sydney reluctantly reunite in Memphis, Tennessee, after the unexpected death of Sydney's mother and Elijah's wife. "There was an estranged relationship," Smits hints of the strained relationship between Elijah and Sydney in ET's exclusive video. Joining Smits and McGee in the cast are Barry Sloane, Michael Luwoye, Stony Blyden, Jayne Atkinson, MaameYaa Boafo and Mo Gallini. Bluff City Law premieres Monday, Sept. 23 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
