You should be sent to the toughest prison in California. Strauss sister, Sandy James, urged Sacramento County Superior Court Judge Michael Bowman to send DeAngelo to Californias notorious supermaximum Pelican Bay State Prison. When he is finally transferred, he will automatically be sent to a maximum security prison, as are all those convicted of first-degree murder. It will be up to prison officials to decide which prison and whether he must be housed in a protective custody unit.

Fans of the true-crime genre probably know the name, Paul Holes. Now retired, the former Cold Case Investigator and Chief of Forensics for the Contra Costa District Attorneys Office in California spent two-and-a-half decades tracking down the Golden State Killer. You know, we had that role in solving the Golden State Killer case, I kind of felt a void in my life. I fully expect that Ill be 80 years old and long retired and some reporters going to knock on the door, saying theyre doing a story about the Golden State Killer.
