An active-duty soldier who was hit by a stray bullet outside the White House plans to sue the Secret Service over the severe injuries he suffered.

A bystander wounded during an exchange of gunfire near the White House last month is an active-duty soldier and is still being treated for his wounds, according to the law firm he has retained.
