The man behind Disney's expansive Marvel Cinematic Universe now has creative control of Marvel's storytelling beyond the big screen. On Tuesday, Variety reported that Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, was named chief creative officer of Marvel. Both Marvel Television and Marvel Family Entertainment will now be part of Marvel Studios. Feige will continue to report to Alan Horn, Walt Disney Studio's co-chairman and chief creative officer, as well as Alan Bergman, its co-chairman. Holland has already starred as the web slinger in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming and 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home. Holland previously addressed the conflict between Sony and Marvel, telling the crowd at D23 that he is "holding out hope that this isn't he final chapter of that story."

"I think it's genius and I'm very excited," Dennings added. Dennings and Portman starred together in two Marvel Cinematic Universe films, 2011's Thor and 2013's Thor: The Dark World. The comic run Dennings is referring to was called The Mighty Thor, which director Taika Waititi has revealed is, indeed, the inspiration for the upcoming 2021 superhero flick, Thor: Love and Thunder.
