Federal prosecutors have moved to dismiss a charge against a labor union leader who was arrested while protesting against the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown in California.

A money manager for D4vd testified that he had heard only the first name of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, the 14-year-old girl the singer is charged with killing, before her dismembered body was found in the trunk of a car.

The leader of a major labor union in Southern California who was arrested while protesting an immigration raid earlier this year has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge and will face trial in January.
