The Dallas Cowboys say former running back Marion Barber III has died.
The former Dallas Cowboys running back, who found dead Wednesday at age 38, was given 12 months probation and community service in Denton County in April.
Barber was a Pro Bowler in 2007 after rushing for 975 yards with 10 touchdowns in a season that he didn’t start a game for Dallas.
The ground-oriented, weather-proof offense has long been preferred by Big Ten teams.
