SpaceX and OneWeb satellites didn't have a close call in space after all: report
It turns out that the recent "near miss" collision between two SpaceX and OneWeb internet satellites in orbit wasn't a "close call" at all, and the satellites weren't actually in danger of crashing, SpaceX has revealed.

But OneWeb CEO Neil Masterson, who joined the company in November after its emergence from last year's bankruptcy, does not see Elon Musk's space business as a direct competitor despite the comparisons. "There are some areas where we will compete, I suspect, particularly around serving governments, but governments will always buy more than one service," Masterson told CNBC. OneWeb's satellite network is a business-to-business model, planning to deliver service through existing telecommunications companies, internet service providers, and other distributors. "All 36 OneWeb spacecraft were launched ... into their design orbits," tweeted Dmitry Rogozin, director of the Russian federal space agency, in translated remarks. In November, OneWeb emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy under new management and pressed ahead with Friday's launch of 36 satellites built at a facility near the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
