A councilman will announce on Friday his plans to introduce legislation regarding the future of Jacksonville’s neighborhoods and citizen engagement.

Children and their families packed the Prime Osborn Center on Saturday for the annual Children’s Christmas Party of Jacksonville toy giveaway.

With Vice President Kamala Harris visiting Jacksonville Wednesday, it was expected there would be big crowds of protesters. While there weren’t necessarily big crowds, there were still people who gathered outside the Prime Osborn Convention Center to take a stand on more than just abortion.

Members of several Jacksonville-area advocacy groups gathered Thursday afternoon at the steps of the Duval County Supervisor of Elections Office for a “Let Duval Vote” rally.
