A fast-moving wildfire in Bostwick is threatening six structures as crews from multiple agencies work to contain the flames, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.

Putnam County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire on Campbells Lane that spread to nearby trees and cars on Friday.

Evacuations are being made from Munich Avenue to Madrid Avenue and Brussells Avenue due to a large brush fire off Keuka Road, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said.

Several homes and vehicles in Hastings were damaged by a severe thunderstorm that brought strong winds and heavy rain Friday evening, according to Putnam County Fire Rescue.
