Two public service announcements from the Ad Council and the business-supported COVID Collaborative feature Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter as well as first ladies Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, and Rosalynn Carter. In a 60-second spot, the former presidents say what they're most looking forward to once the pandemic ends. It features Bush, Obama and Clinton encouraging vaccinations. Vaccinated for virus, Jimmy Carter and wife back in church

PLAINS, Ga. – Now that former President Jimmy Carter and his wife are vaccinated against COVID-19, they have returned to one of their favorite things: church. Maranatha Baptist Church in tiny Plains, Georgia, announced on its Facebook page Wednesday that Carter, 96, and Rosalynn Carter, 93, were again attending worship in person. Jimmy Carter hasn’t resumed teaching his Sunday school class, which once drew thousands of visitors annually. But video from last Sunday’s service showed both of the Carters sitting in their customary spots on the front pew and wearing face masks.

WASHINGTON The Carter Center, an organization founded by former President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, has worked for decades to ensure fair elections in Africa, Latin America and Asia. The Carter Center says its efforts will focus on two main initiatives: providing information to the public on key election issues and ensuring transparency in the election process through independent observers. President Donald Trump has repeatedly said the 2020 election will be the most rigged election in U.S. history. He was a one-term Democratic president who served from 1976 to 1981. He and Rosalynn Carter founded the Carter Center in 1982.
