Emergency officials in New York City, New Jersey, Boston and communities along the East Coast are rushing to prepare for an intense winter storm, forecast to arrive Sunday.

Gov. Gavin Newsom has doled out $1.5 million each to 10 vaccinated winners at Universal Studios to mark the end of the state’s coronavirus restrictions.

The festival was supposed to happen in February but was pushed back because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
