A woman was hospitalized after a domestic dispute led to an early morning shooting in the Turtle Creek neighborhood on Sunday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue say that one person is dead in Turtle Creek.

A Jacksonville City Councilman Reggie Gaffney Jr. and residents in the Turtle Creek neighborhood are demanding that a local hotel shut down after the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a body was found Saturday.
