Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, joined by Gov. Ron DeSantis, announced the arrest and prosecution of 20 defendants as part of a statewide election-integrity operation targeting illegal voting in Florida elections, including the 2024 General Election.

A Colombian citizen living in Jacksonville has been sentenced to three years in federal prison after using a stolen American’s identity for more than two decades to obtain government documents and vote in U.S. elections.

Five people, including two sitting county commissioners, were charged in connection with a scheme that distributed bogus election fliers ahead of the 2024 election in St. Johns County, officials said, raising concerns as local voters head to the polls Aug. 18.
