Another well-known Jacksonville sports figure will be part of the group bringing USL professional soccer to Northeast Florida in the coming years.

Slowly, steadily and passionately, the vision of the JAX USL soccer is coming together. The slow and steady, the waiting game, is the tough part. Jacksonville’s entries into the United Soccer League is still years off, with the men’s and women’s teams pegged to begin in 2025-26. The passion is easy to spot.

It seems that after every Women’s World Cup that the United States Women’s National Team wins (USWNT for short), there will be a boom in the sport.
