Dr. Andrew Bang, a chiropractor at Cleveland Clinic, said the key to a pain-free workday starts with a creative setup. Figure out how to use boxes, or books, to create a better ergonomic setup, he said. And you want your low back in an upright position you can add a pillow for extra support. No matter where you work though, Bang said its important to move.

Thats all thats happening at our workstations at home.Changing your position throughout the day can help -- and give fatigued muscles a break. Youre going to use that for 20 or 30 minutes but then youre going to switch back to the chair.If your wrist is sore from using a laptop touchpad, a keyboard and mouse can help ease discomfort. Once you change position, Bang said muscle injuries should feel better in about three days. However, if your pain is lingering despite changing your work setup, Bang suggests stretching or contracting the muscle thats bothering you.
