Delta bans 460 anti-maskers from flying
Delta Airlines has banned more than 460 people from flying for not following its mask policy, according to CNN. In a new memo to employees, Deltaโs CEO said 460 people are on its โno-flyโ list for refusing to comply with the companyโs mask requirement. On May 4, Delta began requiring passengers to wear masks on flights. The airline says the policy is to protect the health and safety of passengers and crew members. All major airlines now mandate that passengers wear masks in the absence of any new regulations from the federal government.
Twisted Sister singer to anti-maskers: Donโt use our song
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. โ Twisted Sister singer Dee Snider took to social media to condemn anti-maskers who went into a Florida Target store blaring the groupโs hit โWeโre Not Gonna Take Itโ while ripping off their masks. Snider said the group doesnโt have his โpermission or blessing to use my song for their moronic cause.โThe stunt drew quick action from Broward County officials. Target was fined for not enforcing the countyโs mask law and citations were mailed to the protesters, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported. Danielle Schumann, a Target corporate spokeswoman, said Target requires shoppers to wear masks inside stores. Nelson told the Sun Sentinel he will continue to use the Twisted Sister song, despite Sniderโs criticism.
