2026 Florida Run for the Fallen — A core group of runners will cover approximately 170 miles over a three-day period. The run begins in Tallahassee, Florida, across from the State Capitol at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, at 6 a.m. Runners will stop every mile to read a list of Florida’s fallen military heroes, with one stop dedicated to fallen first responders. In total, participants will honor 1,248 fallen heroes. The event concludes at the Veterans Memorial Wall at TIAA Bank Field at approximately 1:45 p.m.on February 8th.

Off-Road United, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families who've lost a loved one in the line of duty, is hosting its largest annual fundraising event -- Krawl'n for the Fallen -- this weekend at the Florida International Rally & Motorsport Park in Starke.

Nick Perdomo with Team Eagle identified his teammate as Yuset Hernandez, 51. 51-year-old Yuset Hernandez died after parachute malfunctioned. The Krawl’n for the Fallen event runs throughout the weekend. A statement on the Krawl’n for the Fallen Facebook page reads:"Today at Krawl’n for the Fallen we suffered a horrible tragedy. Off Road United Foundation is expecting up to 2,500 people for the weekend event, which features off-road trails and obstacles.

(CNN) – A Utah paint shop that specializes in motorcycles and classic cars has designed a customized casket for a fallen police dog. The police department contacted Rawtin Garage with an urgent request to honor Hondo’s life: a customized casket. Hondo’s casket 💔 🐕 What an honor it was to paint a hero’s casket. "What an honor it was to paint a hero's casket," the garage posted on Facebook. The crew at Rawtin Garage normally custom paints motorcycles and classic cars this was their first casket design.
