Man, 50, dies in I-95 crash in Flagler County
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. â A 50-year-old Flagler Beach man was killed in a crash Wednesday night on Interstate 95, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
State troopers said David Adorante was traveling southbound in the right lane of I-95 just north of the Matanzas Woods Parkway overpass at about 9:20 p.m.
Troopers said Adorante's car approached the back of a tractor-trailer very quickly and struck its rear end. Adorante's car spun clockwise and then overturned, troopers said.
They said his car landed upright between the right and center lanes.
Adorante was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt.
No charges will be filed.
