SUV crashes into Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman crashed her SUV into the Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute on North Main Street Tuesday, an eyewitness said.

The woman said she was parking to go to an eye appointment at the River City Vision Center next door to the clinic when her SUV accelerated without her doing so. 

The red Mercedes SUV was still running when authorities arrived.

The SUV was stopped by a weightlifting machine, witnesses said. 

No one was in the weight room when the SUV crashed into it.
