SB lanes of I-295 at Main Street reopen after semitruck fire

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A semitruck fire forced all southbound lanes of the I-295 East Beltway closed Tuesday afternoon at Main Street. Northbound lanes were slow moving.

Southbound traffic began moving again shortly after 5:30 p.m.

The driver of the truck was said to be OK, and the fire has been extinguished.
